Kids at Mass can feel like chaos. But what if the real goal is deeper than perfect behavior? Inspired by Pope Leo’s Wednesday Audience in which he references Sacrosanctum Concilium, we can see that Catholic worship is about both external and internal participation.Â
As Romans 12:1 calls us to be a living sacrifice, mothers can help both themselves and their children offer interior participation in the liturgy in Mass and throughout every day by fostering the kids’ own love for their faith. Explore a few examples of how you can help your children experience a love for their faith in their daily lives. By doing this, attending Mass becomes a fuller participation in the liturgy for everyone.Â
