It is such a privilege for me to contribute my "time, talent, and treasure" to this organization.
I have six children, ages five to eighteen. I had no idea that being a Catholic wife and mother would be so exciting, exhausting, and rewarding.
I am happy to contribute to Mighty Is Her Call because I love supporting Catholic mothers, and because it is the ministry that I needed and did not have in both the initial stages of motherhood and later when I found myself in the trenches. Being a Catholic mother has brought me to the brink of my abilities— and at times, my sanity. I need the retreats and the daily blog of Mighty Is Her Call to keep my vision on the importance of my vocation, and to find consolation, humor, good reminders, ideas, and advice from other mothers. I love the communities, local as well as online, that are forming through this ministry.
I am also happy to contribute to Mighty Is Her Call because there is no other ministry for mothers that is dedicated especially to open-to-life Catholic mothers. The open-to-life dimension of being a mother has presented a whole new level of challenge, and yet brought me to a whole new level of intimacy with God (mostly because it keeps me on my knees!). In a very special way, being open to life helps Catholic mothers to live out Christ's words, "No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends" (John 15:12). Openness to life is, for some women, a primary way that they make a complete gift of themselves to God and their family. It is how they renounce the world and cling to Christ. I find Catholic motherhood to be a vocation that is worth supporting and promoting, as it is a saint-making vocation that offers mothers a modern way to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Christ (Matthew 16:24), thus living a life of radical discipleship.
I pray for Mighty Is Her Call—that more and more mothers will be strengthened in their faith and their vocation, and that the Church will be aided by its increased appreciation of the mother saints in her midst.

I’m so honored to be listed as a ‘Mary’s Mom’ for Mighty Is Her Call. When we contribute to this ministry of motherhood, I see it as honoring our Blessed Mother Mary—the love she has for her Son Jesus, as well as her devotion to motherhood. As mothers, we can look to Mary for our power, our hope, our strength. In celebration of the selfless love that mothers around the world give, I share the words of St. John Paul II: From Mary we learn to surrender to God’s will in things. From Mary we learn to trust even when all hope seems gone .... Learn from her to be always faithful, to trust that God’s Word to you will be fulfilled, and that nothing is impossible with God. I choose to contribute to Mighty Is Her Call because of this ministry's faithfulness in spreading this message. My hope is that every mother touched by this ministry would make a gift of any size, so that she is not only benefiting from the Ministry but building it as well. Mothers can lift up each other’s voices about the power of our selfless love—the giving of ourselves for the sake of others. I so hope that every mother will give the gift that is just right for herself. When Mighty is Her Call begins to spread to other countries, soon many other mothers will have access to the mutual support we offer in this ministry.

Mighty Is Her Call is such an exciting ministry—much needed by Catholic moms. I am really happy to be supporting this effort to spread the highest and best of our faith!
I have eight children, twenty-six grandchildren and thousands of spiritual children, who have given their lives to the Gospel. My husband, Frank, and I lived an amazing journey of lay missionary life, in which our kids were formed through God’s Word, the sacraments, and serving the poor. In my own motherhood, I have experienced intense trials and triumphs. I have felt the pain of surrendering a child for adoption and the joy of reuniting with him. I’ve buried a child. I’ve watched my handicapped son endure great hardship and watched him be an awesome instrument of God’s love. I’ve suffered with my daughter in the incredible sadness of nine miscarriages, and I’ve rejoiced with each new grandchild born, several with unique needs. Jesus has been there all the time, and we rely on God’s mercy and grace in every struggle and challenge. Resisting the temptation to tell of my kids’ successes, whether academic, in ministry, or as parents, I rejoice instead that they live out the faith that we instilled in them, they know and love God genuinely, and their lives give glory to Him as Kingdom Builders. Our cup runneth over!!!!
I pray daily that with the generosity of benefactors and prayer warriors, the ministry of Mighty is Her Call will help transform Catholic families.

Open-to-life motherhood is not applauded by our culture, but Mighty Is Her Call proudly proclaims and acclaims this powerful vocation. The Catholic Church needs this message today! As mothers sacrificially giving our lives to raise saints, we are a mighty force for the Kingdom. We are broken and imperfect, but we are anointed for the purpose of nurturing and forming souls in love with Jesus. We have an incredibly hard but crucial responsibility, and we are not alone. Mighty Is Her Call mothers can gain perspective and encouragement from one another. We all have something to give.
Since childhood, I wanted nothing more than to live and die as a missionary. Though I pictured serving and evangelizing in China, God has clearly called me to serve and evangelize in my own home. Yes, we are bringing the Gospel to the ones God entrusted to our care. We are laying foundations of faith. We are building a civilization of love. At times, I have grown weary on this motherhood mission field, but through Mighty Is Her Call, I have been uplifted and fortified. In any way possible, I want to help further this ministry and grow this community of mothers united in faith and purpose.

I first encountered Mighty is Her Call on The Catholic Mother’s retreat in 2018. I was eight weeks postpartum with my first baby (who was a surprise baby), and everything in my life seemed so chaotic with the sleep deprivation, difficulties with postpartum healing, and wondering how in the world do I handle the responsibility of this little soul entrusted to my care? I was deeply ministered to by the women of Mighty is Her Call—specifically their focus on openness to life as this was a real part of my story. I found peace in the concept of a motherhood that is open to life, both physical and spiritual, and open to co-creating with Our Lord, as we live out our ontological status of being made in the image of Our Father and Creator.
Aside from being a Catholic wife and mom, I own a pelvic PT concierge practice. It brings me great joy to help moms realize that God designed our bodies to grow and deliver babies AND to have a healthy functioning pelvic floor. The two are not mutually exclusive! I make treatments easy for moms by bringing the clinic to them in their most comfortable and convenient space. While postpartum is a common time to have pelvic and orthopedic issues, it certainly is not the only time this happens, and I happily treat a variety of these concerns. I hold a doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern, and I hope my training blesses many moms to live out their “Mighty Call” without pain or dysfunction.

My own mother raised and homeschooled fourteen of us in an oversized farmhouse in southern New Hampshire. We went through the grades in pairs, and both textbooks and t-shirts were passed down. My mother was the homeroom teacher for up to six or seven different grades at a time, as well as the cook, the maid, and the queen of our little rocky piece of New England. I don't know how she did it then, or how she continues to do an equally marvelous job with her many grandchildren. She makes my gift to Mighty is Her Call a legacy gift. MIHC provides precisely the kind of spiritual and emotional sustenance that my mother craved back then, and that my own wife--a mother of three sons with one on the way--enjoys now. This ministry promotes the flourishing of the Church's lay daughters, but also, in an equally important way, Mighty is Her Call essentially renews those who are most immediately responsible for forming the Church's sons.
