Patricia Phillippi

Thank you for reading my post! It is a grace that I get to write about the Christ-like nature of motherhood and lead this ministry as Executive Director. The honor of this role came about after many years of “field experience” through difficult pregnancies, the hardship of single motherhood, the agony of my son’s brain cancer diagnosis, and the steadfast accompaniment of my four children on the road less traveled. Somewhere in the midst of it all, I earned a master's degree in psychology from Divine Mercy University. Before that, I worked for many years in the field of behavioral research at a national primate research center. One of my favorite studies was measuring the power of the maternal-infant bond in rhesus monkeys. It's no surprise--mothers leave a lasting impression on their children, monkeys and humans alike!
