Anne Simpson

Shortly after finishing my degree in music from Loyola University New Orleans, I married my devoted husband Robert in the year 2000. We settled in Covington, Louisiana where I worked as Director of Music at St. Peter Catholic Church. After 21 years of marriage, my husband Robert lost his hard-fought battle with cancer. In 2022 I received my Master of Arts in Liturgy degree from the Liturgical Institute and I now hold the title of Director of Parish Ministries and Liturgy at the same church. I am a lover of the good, the true, and the beautiful, and dedicated to the preservation of these transcendentals in our culture through the ars celebrandi of the unique Roman Catholic liturgy. I enjoy spending time at home with my five children. Known at one time to be a competitive age-group triathlete, I now prefer to get lost on long hikes in the woods with my dog Beaux.
